It's very easy to make fun of the EMP. For one thing, anything designed by Frank Gehry DEFIES you to mock it. Plus its high-tech interactive "Sound Lab" is just a playpen for grown-ups, while the "Funk Ride" is pure Disneyland nonsense. But the "Sound Lab" is a BLAST! And who could possibly resist a "Funk Ride"? Who can resist NONSENSE?

Rock & Roll is nonsense. People STILL make fun of Elvis, not to mention Punk Rock, Disco, Rap and even HENDRIX. As well they should! I've always LOVED The Beatles, but I still can't get over their stupid haircuts. Like the EMP, the 1964 version of the Beatles were DESIGNED for ridicule. It's the quickest way to get attention, and the funnest way to piss off the squares. Rock & Roll, Comics, Baseball, B Movies, Bikinis, Hot Rods, and now the ludicrous EMP. The best things in life are DUMB.
