Disclaimer #2:

I hate modern architecture. Just about everything built after WW2 seems cold and impersonal to me, and not fit for human habitation. That's why I chose to live in a "old-fashioned" house, in a relatively "old-fashioned" neighborhood. I have a cow if I so much as see a neighbor putting ALUMINUM SIDING on their home!

Still, my feeling is if you're gonna "go modern" you might as well go NUTS. None of this boring steel-and-glass rectangle bullshit. If it's gonna be an eyesore then make it an EYESORE! ( I come from a long line of eyesore-makers, btw: my uncle designed those hideous arch-roofed ShopRite stores that blight the East Coast, and my grandfather designed all the exit ramps on the Taconic Parkway, the country's first "modern" highway — just two reasons why the Bagge Family owes the State of New York a huge apology).
