Once the green flag drops, the whole focus of the event shifts. The media center, previously populated by a lumpen press corps filing piffle on whether Sarah Fisher has a boyfriend or not, suddenly looks fit and lean, intensely focused on the actual contenders, the ones they've ignored for weeks: Juan Montoya, Al Unser, Jr., Greg Ray, and the dark horse, Buddy Lazier.
